Without knowing much information, I've turned down the task of best man (for my highschool best friend, nonetheless) because I don't know if I'll even be able to attend.

If anyone has gone to Ft. Meade & knows anything about being granted liberty, leaving the state on liberty, leaving/returning in uniform or civies, please let me know so I can get a better idea of what to expect.

Thanks in advance,
Jake.

If you're in Phase 1 or if you're gonna be in class, its definitely gonna be a no.

If you're in Phase 2 or 3, you should talk with your duty section leaders and if you're in some kind of battalion, company, division (each A-school calls these things something different), then ask the leadership for that.

Basically just use your Chain of Command.
