My goal is to pass the DEP test and first PRT and advance to an E-3 while in bootcamp. My recruiter said that this is still possible even though I'm going in higher than an E-1. So, I'm assuming it might be the same way for you, NavyPanther. Not sure though. Just offering up what I understand about the whole process!
