Everyone that does NOT have an A School in Great Lakes will not have the weekend to spend with their family. They will only get that Friday and some of that Saturday if you do decide to meet your Sailor at whatever airport their flying out of. People that don't have A School in Great Lakes leave RTC the morning after graduation.
Everyone that DOES have an A School in Great Lakes gets the weekend to spend with their family, but not that much time the day of graduation bkuz they have to check into that command and all that other good stuff. But they'll have the rest of that weekend. |

In GL, you will attend a liberty brief on your ship and then you can go. You have to be back at 2200. Liberty drops at 0500 Saturday and Sunday.
