Well I'm outta here!

Yes it has come to be that time that I leave for MEPS and off to boot camp. It's been a long 8+ months but I know that this is the best thing for me to do at this point in my life. I appreciate all the information and support that everyone has provided to me. Without it I'd be clueless.

I head up to MEPS at 1pm today, my mom and bro are taking me up there and spending the night. I'm pretty nervous. I didn't sleep much last night and my stomach is a mess. I know once I get to boot I'll calm down.

Good Luck Kristin! You're going to be great. I know the nerves got to Ross real bad and it was a waste of energy...he said it was not that bad and he actually enjoyed BC, at least most of it. Don't forget to write.

Kristin, I'm sorry I missed your sendoff, but I've been thinking about you. The nerves are normal, but try to get as much sleep as you can, because you'll be up for more than 48 hours once they wake you up for MEPS. Andrew was up Tuesday morning 4AM and didn't get to sleep until 10PM on Thursday night. Hang in there, and we'll be writing to you as soon as your mom gets your address.
