My A School is in Great Lakes but it shouldn't be bad at all since it will be March when I go to my A School and July when I finish unless I get held at boot camp.

DAR-Getting Ship date changed

What all goes into asking your recruiter if your ship date can get moved up? Right now I am supposed to ship out to RTC 20140107 and my rate is HT.

That's good to know. Also I have about 5 months to get my BMI down, but I'm hoping that I lose the weight soon and then try to move my ship date up.
