Default After CTN "A" School

After "A" School my recruiter said that you go home for 2 weeks before you report to your first command. Is this true?

Sometimes, but not always. A lot of times there is wiggle room between your graduation date and check in date to your new command, if there is than you will be able to take leave, if not then you won't. You will not know until you get your hard orders. Your orders will have a NLT (no later than) date, this is the latest you are able to check in. It could be a couple days or a couple weeks out. You can always check in early, and remember that any leave you take is still charged leave, with the exception of approved travel time and/or house hunting leave.
