Length of BC
I know this is such a basic question, but how long is BC typically? I know its different for everyone because things happen that you account for, but my brothers was 7 and a half weeks and some people say their's was 9 and a half. I ship 03/23 and I'm not trying to figure out exactly when I graduate RTC but should I just figure its going to be 8 weeks. Is that the average?
Again sorry for such a stupid question. |

Navy basic is 9 weeks long normally. The first week is processing and the rest is training. It is possible to have processing take longer due to not having enough recruits to make a division. Those days will still count as processing days and will not go into your 8 weeks of training.
