Question Medical Q's?

Hi everyone! I'm going to be going to the recruiters office in 2 days and I want to try to get prepared as possible. Reading on this forum has really taught me a lot!

First question, when you have to do your medical exams, (for me the biggest issue is dental) and you need to have your wisdom teeth removed, do they do it like in the first week your there? I almost know for a fact they'll have to remove all 4 of mine, since my wisdom teeth grew in completely sideways although they never broke through the skin at all. I went to the dentist maybe last year to get xrays. They said to get wisdoms removed, I have 2 cavities and I need a deep cleaning. My mouth sounds messed up, but what can you do when you have no insurance because you simple CANNOT pay for it, let alone pay for surgery? I'm just worried about going and being in so much pain from getting all that done, that when they make me start doing stuff I fail from it!

Also, glasses! I'm blind as a bat without them. I've read they issue glasses, I havent had a exam in over a year now. So do they throw away the glasses I'll be wearing and give me new ones or just put new lenses in mine?

Thanks for any help!!

for your teeth dont worry so much, they get taken out the first few days your there and get sick time to heal.

as of glasses you keep yours and get new glasses that you will wear during bootcamp called birthcontrol glasses..

youll store your old glasses ina drawer until you leave

Yes you get to keep your glasses, you will have to store yours once you get your NAVY GLASSES...and yes they do call them birth comtrol glasses..cause they are UGLY!
As far as your teeth..you wont be the only one having plenty of dental work done..they wont do all of it at once..you might get the wisdom teeth done first and later the cavaties, and you will have a couple of days to recover..like 2 or 3 from the wisdom teeth.
