Default Chapstick & lotion at RTC NEX?

I've read and reread the list of things that you can bring to RTC and as I understand, chapstick and skin lotion are not on the list of acceptable things to bring, but will we be able to purchase any when we are allowed to go to the NEX? Thanks!

You'll be issued chapstick on your first night, but not lotion. On your first NEX trip, you can buy lotion and shampoo (you won't get that either, just lever 2000). But your RDCs will dictate what you can and cannot buy (ours wouldn't let us buy more chapstick so we were stuck with what we were issued).

If you go during the winter, it will wreak havoc on your skin!

It's not that bad you'll get used to it.

I'm from the South and it suuuuucked! A lot of people went to medical because their skin was so dry it was starting to bleed. They were prescribed medicated lotion and chapstick, which did wonders. Some got chits to go back to the NEX to buy better hygiene products (lots of Aveeno).

Yeah, you'll get chapstick your first night at RTC, my lips were chapped really bad and when we went to dental sometime during the first week they have me a few packets of some jelly that really helps. If you have a problem with chapped lips ask somebody at dental for something to help your lips, say the chapstick isn't helping much.

As for lotion it's all up to your RDC if they allow it or not.

The RDC's will definitely allow you to purchase lotion from the NEX, especially in the winter. However, you will probably only be able to buy certain lotions that have NO SCENT! Theres plenty of nice lotion with like coconut butters and stuff, but you can't buy it.

You are allowed to keep your chapstick on you at all times in your backpack in a certain pocket.

Thanks Everyone, I'm okay with unscented just as long as I can get some of each.
