Bootcamp Mom with questions
Good evening!
My son will be shipping off for bootcamp soon. I read that all official communications from his RDC, etc will be sent to his HoR. My question is what happens when parents are divorced and have 2 separate addresses, both have a relationship with the recruit? Does he need to put my name on a mailing list to receive important information such as the graduation packet with date and security forms, pass/fail info, injury/illness info? Or do I have to reach out to his father to get copies? Thank you, in advance, for your assistance! |

As far as I remember, its been along time since then for me, your recruit addresses all mail to whom ever they want to get it...however, generally the address used is the home address they entered the navy with. Just know when it comes for PIR, with no exceptions, only 3 to 4 people will be allowed inside for the ceremony.
