How is it being an LS in the Navy?
If there are any active LS's out there could you give us an idea of what your days are like and if it is a good rate?
Please, if you are not an LS do not come on and post the job description from a different site. Those are just broad over views of the job. Thanks |

It is, in my opinion, probably the hardest job to do. We have basically 4 rates to do:
PC - Postal Clerk LS - Logistics Specialist (main job) AK - Aviation Storekeeper SK - Storekeeper (self explanitory) When you are in aviation, you have tons to do. Ship out plane parts, order supplies for things like aircraft carriers, small boys, stuff like that. PC, you basically handle mail all day, and send packages LS - thats the main name, but is everything rolled into one. SK - when on an aircraft carrier, you run the store, you work in the barber shop, you stock food rooms, you order supplies for the ship (like food and whatnot) ALL WHILE TRYING TO KEEP PEOPLE HAPPY WITH WHAT THEY WANT AND WHEN THEY WANT IT!! If something doesnt go their way, its apparently your fault, and you are the one that needs to fix it, and fix it now!
