Default BESS School

Why would nukes not go to BESS? Isn't that where you learn damage control, and useful information about submarines? Does the nuke pipeline teach you this for surface and sub? Or do you just learn this while trying to get your quals?

There's some very basic stuff they teach through the pipeline. Also, there's a very remote possibility that some select nukes can go to kings bay to take a damage control class while on grad hold from power school.

It's not part of the standard pipeline. I wouldn't expect it till you get to your boat. Like i said earlier, there's a remote chance that it will be possible to do it on grad hold. I wouldn't hold my breath for it.

Look at some of the videos where they explain if you hold your breath you will die.

No it's only 60 something feet now. They made a new one because someone died in the old one. But it's fun as hell. Going up 60 feet in just over 2 seconds, and then trying to hold on while they open the hatch. A few of the people that I did it with couldn't hold on while the pressure equaled.
