I have a question...My sailor already graduated as a CTT and is presently in C school waiting to get her security/background access approved. If she doesn't have that access by the end of the week, she will be dropped from C school. Will she be re-rated or what happens now and how long does it usually take for access to be approved? She had already received her orders during Class A.

She can ask her command where she is now, or you might try asking her recruiter...I am not sure what the procedure is...

Thank you. She did ask her chief but he didn?t want to assist because he felt if he never helped anyone else, why her? I hate that this is happening but I understand that military works the way military works. She only has one more month left in the class and aced all her exams but is still due to get dropped by Monday.

I checked with a recruiter, he said if she fails her security clearance, she wont go undesignated, but will be reclassed to another rate depending on her ASVAB score.
