Default RTC Challenge Coin or JFK Ship 09 Challenge Coin for PIR

Hi, My son will be graduating from RTC, where his ship is 09 JFK. Would it be best to get him a ship 09 JFK coin for graduation, or the RTC, which really isn't a coin? I got him the Navy Mission Statement Coin already, with case.

Even though it's more expensive, the JFK is the most important. That is where your sailor has lived for 2 months. It is more specific. In the Navy, the more specific you get, the better.

In the fleet if you get a ships coin, it's ok. However, if you got a division coin it would be much better. The lower it goes the better. Most companies would never do it because it cost way too much room for stock, and cost lots of $$$ to make more specific coins...

Frankly, I totally hate that RTC coin because it's not round and doesn't fit shadow (display) boxes. It's also not made as well as the ships coin. But that's me. Everyone has a different view on things.

Most people like the ships coin, the RTC coin, the creed coin, or the core value coin. It's funny, they just sold that core value coin on ebay. It went for $3200. PIRGifts.com sells the same coin for 11.95 the only difference is actor Tony Curtis held that one.
