Default START guide question.

This may have been asked and answered already, but I was wondering if we take our START guide to boot camp, will they just throw it away? Because I have little bit of stuff written in it to help me study.

Sorry if this might be a little bit of a dumb question. I appreciate the help though.

You can bring it there (say to study on the plane if you want), but it will be sent home in the box. You won't get to keep it.

Yeah they give you a new book a day or 2 in. TRAINEE GUIDE

Its a huge white book filled with... well a lot of shit. And you study it ALL THE TIME. and take it with you everywhere. Whenever you are sitting somewhere waiting, or done eating at chow, you shove your nose in it lol.

But i was so tired i would just like stare at the book during chow. Never really got the words outa it haha.

Here's the link to it's website format:
http://www.cnrc.navy.mil/graphic-ele...tart_guide.pdf
You can print that, if for some reason the pdf version I am uploading doesn't work. (: Hope this helps!

You can also request another one from your recruiter, Flare :-)

http://www.corpsman.com/wp-content/u...ccelerator.pdf

This is similar to the start guide but it gives a little bit more information. Hope it helps.
