Default One Day of Liberty

Hey!

Quick question, I heard that while in boot camp, there is a single day(evening?) of Liberty where a family member can take you to dinner outside of RTC. Is that true? If so, does it have to be a family member? Or can it be a friend? What is the process behind this?

Thanks,
CryptoSailor

Yes, You get about 8ish hours of liberty after graduation. You can spend time with a family member, or friend. Doesn't matter as long as you list their name on the graduation pass during P-days. If you don't have anyone coming, you can also hang out with fellow sailors in your division and with their families if they want, ect ect. If you have your A school there, you won't have liberty until later in the day due to checking in, but you have the rest of the weekend for liberty.
