Question Graduation Question?!

So I was wondering for graduation, how do I get my family over for graduation? Do they grant a limit amount of plane tickets to you or do I have to pay for their ticket for them to fly down here? How will they be informed?

They do not pay for your family to come for graduation, either you or your family will have to pay for then to come.

They will send an information packet to your family.

You or your family has to pay for it. But you're limited to the amount of people you can bring to graduation. You can bring either 3 or 4 depending on what division you're in.

Those wishing to come to your PIR are responsible to pay their own way...you may not even be able to help them as you really wont have computer time to make flight arraingments, hotel, rental car, etc. About a little past half way through boot you will be sending your family a letter expaining when and how many will be allowed and one parking pass. Generally the number has been three family members allowed, but if there are fewer divisions graduating they can up it to four. For those family members that cant come it is now broadcast live on the internet so they can watch it. So basically..your family has to pay their own way....

I came to my friends graduation about a month ago. He wrote to his parents, and they contacted me if I would like to go. I knew him since we were babies, and there was still a spot open for I was the 3rd one. Pretty sure it doesn't have to be just family. As long as there is an open spot for your GF, and she is able to provide or your family is willing to provide the expenses for her to see you at graduation.

You can invite whoever you want for your four guests.

Also if there are I think 13+ divisions graduating, you can only bring 3 guests.

I've been on the RTC facebook page and I notice a lot fewer people graduating in the winter; I saw one time "371 graduates." If there were this few people graduating, would RTC allow the maximum to 5 or more?

OK thanks guys. Thankfully she won't have far to go being she lives in Wis . so she will just have to drive on over to Chi and pay for a motel. My parents on the other will have to fly from Wa state . will be there vacation for the year. hopefully i have some time in between A school and boot to spend time with.

At a minimum, you'll have a couple hours. At most, you'll have the weekend before you have to report to A school.

Also, dont count on any over night visits...if your A school is not at Great Lakes, you will probably ship out the next morning..if your A school is at Great Lakes, you will probably have to move over to the other side then get to spend time with your family. and you can not wear civie clothes either...you will have to stay in uniform when you go out.
