Hello, I'm brand new to this website and confused as to how I find threads about my sailor's specific PIR date. His date is 10-16-15.
Any help would be greatly appreciated!

This website won't help you too much when it comes to specifics like that. You can, however, find a facebook page for your sailors division. The Official Recruit Training Command facebook page will also have information for you.

What are you trying to find out?
To estimate his PIR date, go to the Friday 8 weeks after his arrival.
You'll get a letter around week 2 that will have more detailed information (date, travel arrangements, where to stay, how to get on base - every thing you need to know)

If he is in now and you know his division number this site can help you: http://www.bootcamp.navy.mil/upcoming_grads.asp

It is updated regularly so if his division is not there check back in another week or so.... ;)

There is a group set up on Navyformoms.com for that PIR date. My son is graduating that day also. Send me a friend request if you want more specifics.
