We are kind of the redheaded step children of combat systems or engineering. Usually it isn't the easiest thing to find information about our rate, but if you have any questions I can certainly help.

My son was recently re-rated from CTN to IC. He had a lot of plans to attend school on TA while a CTN. What opportunities will he have as an IC? Since it is so sea-heavy, what can he get done when on the smaller ships versus a CVN?
