Does anyone know when I will be graduating? Some of my family will not stop asking me! I have already told them that I won't know til later, but they insist on buggin me about it! =)

Lauren...give this web site to your family...you will NOT know when you will graduate until you get a division once you start boot. You can tell them it would GENERALLY be about 2 months after you get there, but the dates wont be exact until you start your training. Your dates could be a week off depending on the day of the week you get there. Like if you get there on a Thursday or Friday..you most likely wont actually start unitl the following Monday. If you get there on Monday..your class up will be sometime later in the week. So just tell them ABOUT 2 months and give them this web addy so they can track when yours is posted!

Lauran - You really don't have a clue until you form your division in bootcamp. From there you can count out 8 weeks. At best you should say "about 8 weeks after I form my division". Remember the "P" (Processing) days do not count.

Lauran - It's all about paying forward. Once your done with boot camp, come back here and provide answers to the new people that about to go to Great Lakes. That's all we ask from people on this website....is to help those that are about to follow in your foot steps...

I was an IT from 2000-2006, served at NCTAMS PAC in Wahiawa, HI, USS Ogden in San Diego and finished my time on North Island. Joined as an E1 and made E5 at my 3 year mark.
