DEP Pqs advancement test
I am taking an advancement test at the first day of bootcamp and I was wondering what will be on it? The stuff that's in the START guide or will it have questions about History, first aid and etc? Because that information is not in the
START guide but it is in the old one ( http://www.navygirl.org/DEP/DEPSuccessAccelerator.pdf ) ? I know the test is multiple choice but that's all I know, any help would be appreciated. Cheers. |

Use this one... I think it's probably more current:

It will contain all information from the START guide they gave you at MEPS, like rank/rate recognition, Chain of Command, Advancement, General Orders, Etc. If you study your START guide hard and know your stuff you'll be fine. Don't forget though that to actually advance off that test you need to pass the test AND your initial PFA, so you need to both study and get into good physical shape.

Jaxx10, no you don't need it in your contract. Everybody takes it at the start of RTC. Also it is only to advance from E1-E2. If u
you already are going in as an E2 or E3, passing this test may only will keep you from doing a few extra pushups |
