900 divisions are "honor" divisions, and all it really means is that while you're at RTC, you'll be part of a division that does state flags/drill/band/chorus. Which means you'll perform in a few graduation ceremonies before your actual own. A little more drill and marching than normal divisions.....extra work.
At the end of the day, there is no difference whether you were in a 900 series division or not. Once you get to your first command (ship, station, etc.), nobody cares and you don't get any extra status in your personnel record. So since 900 status is pretty much based on luck anyways (I was in one in 2006....and I have no idea why I was selected), I wouldn't worry. If it happens, it happens.
