I ship out on tuesday! The advice I always get is keep your mouth shut and your ears open! and that the hardest part lies not with bootcamp itself but living with so many people with absolutely no privacy. Just keep in mind why you're there in the first place, and you'll get through! (Also, I've been told to not go to medical unless its something MAJOR!)

"Attention to detail" and "Never move ahead". Also if you see someone struggling or needing help don't be afraid to step up to the plate and assist them. You're a team and you will never get yelled at for helping a fellow sailor. I leave 20130814 for RTC, it's a mind game, just take everything with a grain of salt.

Pretty much what Navy Nate said. Attention to detail is everything. For me the worst part of boot was p-days. It seemed like everything took forever in the beginning of boot but then it went fast as the weeks went by and before you knew it you were graduating. LSsquillace, I just graduated Yeoman school on Wednesday so I know what your a school will be like. If you have any questions about it let me know and I can answer them!
