Just a couple of questions (AC)
As of right now I'm going to be an AC and I heard the A school is hard, I've read most of the stuff about ACs on here but I was wondering what the drop out rate is for this particle A school. Also I was wondering what a flight physical consists of and what happens if I get to my A school and fail the flight physical?

A Flight Physical involves a more thorough check of your blood for any allergies or abnormalities, test of your ears to ensure you can equalize them, chest x-ray, EKG, eye exam and depth perception test, and a hands-on physical exam by a flight surgeon. You'll take an initial during bootcamp, and a recert upon arriving in Pensacola... then you'll be required to get an annual during your birth month. If you have a medical issue that comes up, you can submit a waiver if it's waiverable... otherwise you'll have to reclassify to a rating that doesn't require being in a flight status.

The drop rate is 50-70%, but that includes people who get dropped back to another class if they fail a test. My boyfriend's class started with 20, graduated with 12 people last fall.
