Default Medical Release forms

A lot of deppers think that the Navy doesn't have access to your civilian medical records. This is wrong.
You will sign a medical release form to allow the Navy to review you medical records. They can also look in the national database to see what/if any precriptions you have filled. It is so easy for the Navy to do this. There is not many who go to the medical office under an assume name, pay of the cost of the medical visit, and pay for the prescriptions out of their own pocket. If your insurance paid anything, then it's in a national database. It's just a keyboard stroke away.
Here are the two form the Navy will have you sign.
The 1st one is for National Security Positions. Basically everyone has a security clearance in the Navy. It is limited to only mental health items.
The 2nd is basically for everything else. It is very broad. Yea, you can say there are limits, but those are really broad limits.

Signing the form is voluntarily, however, if you don't sign the form, then you can't get into the Navy.

Long story short, I am bored, scanning the threads looking at stuff, I noticed this. You said "If your insurance paid anything it is in a National Database." Well what if you don't have insurance and it is paid out of pocket? Not in the database? I would think that is how it is. Just wondering?? Thanks!

Well if a doctor had prescribed anything to you, chances are they'll write down in your medical file for future reference.
