My friend is retired CTR Chief and spent fair amount of time on ships, from carriers to destroyers. From what I've read online the CT rate that stays mostly on shore is CTN.

CTN's do have some Spec War opportunities (as all CT's do), but the opportunity to go to sea is pretty limited as a N-brancher. /r CTT1 |

ISSN Reynolds,
For OPSEC's sake I would also remove your specific job title and NEC from your signature block. Last name is fine, but specifics shouldn't be mentioned as to your role and duty station. /r CTT1 |

My roommate is about to go to some destroyer and he's a CTR. I'm also a CTR (hopefully) and I enjoy it so far. But I might be a little biased. I think I would enjoy almost any job in the navy.
