Damage Controlman ??
any DCman here? either in DEP, prior enlisted, or even better, currently enlisted? tell me about it. what do you guys know. thats my rating, and honestly im clueless lol. i chose it because it was either that or like a boatswain or Culinary specialist just due to the fact no other jobs were really available at the time. im not regretting my decision, it sounds cool, id just like to know what really happens for this guys, on a day to day basis.

You'll do a lot of maintenance. You'll also run the ship's fire drills (you are responsible for training the other sailors in fire fighting and damage control). Depending on the type of ship, you'll probably be doing a lot of work on the flight deck.
