Paycheck Question
I didn't really know where to stick this post so I chose the Boot Camp thread. Anyway, my wife and I keep separate accounts. Can I allocate my paycheck into two different accounts when I sign up for direct deposit at Boot? If so, does it work by dollar amount or by percentage? Any relevant information would be extremely helpful!

Your paycheck will go into one account but you can set up allotments into another one. It's easy to do. I know you can do dollar amounts, not sure about percentages.

Does that all happen at boot camp? I mean, I set up a direct dep and the allocation at the same time?

While in bootcamp there will be a day or two for finances. You will be able to set up Navy Federal/ USAA accounts as well has allotments.

Does anyone know if I can have my check deposited into my wife's account (which I am not on)? The allotments only come on the 1st. I get to boot on Tuesday (the 24th). So from how I figure it i won't actually get paid until the 15th of June. That would mean that she wouldn't see any money until the 1st of July. That would make it extremely difficult for her. What I thought I'd do is have my check deposited into her account and have her just make deposits into my account while I'm in boot camp. Once I'm at A school I can switch it around and give her allotments. Will that work?

You can always just set up your account now with Navy Fed or whatever, give her access to it / or not. When time comes in boot camp to set up your pay check, just give them your existing information.
