my recruiter told me last week that during the summer months, all PT is done indoors during basic due to liability of a recruit not hydrating enough. does anyone who has recently been through basic know the validity of this matter? thanks in advance, i leave monday july 15th.

All of my PT was done indoors, but I was there from November to March. It was still thirty something degrees when I left.

It typically doesn't matter what the weather is, your PT is based on a schedule at freedom hall. I was the first division to recieve spring issue gear this year, and it got hot, yet the only time I noticed PT outside was the near graduated or the THUers

I'm sure it gets musty in Freedom Hall. The key is being used to it.
