Training
So since PACT-SN has no A-School since you aren't even rated, however you do stay in Great Lakes for a 3 week training, what is this training like? I would assume it is basic seamanship type stuff since we go straight to the fleet but how about liberty during those 3 weeks and things like that? Can we leave base? Anyone go through this?

I'm in the aviation community, so I'm only making an educated guess here.
When I was in A-School, I knew a few A-PACT. They had the same liberty as the rest of us with a "normal" A-School. They learned the basics about our community, ship life, and corrosion control. So, I'm guessing you will be going through something similar. You should have weekends off and time after class to explore base. Depending on your liberty phase you will be able to leave base.

I read that it's 3 weeks of learning basic seamanship things.
