Graduation Care Package
Starting December 4, every recruit who graduates from Recruit Training Command (RTC) will have an opportunity to receive a care package from the organization Operation Gratitude.
RTC is the third boot camp to incorporate Operation Gratitude. Both Marine Corps depot stations have started this program. To pick up the care packages, recruits will march over to the issue site the night before their graduation. Recruit Division Commanders will submit a muster of how many recruits are in each division and ensure that every recruit who requests a package is given one. Recruits are not allowed to open the package until they leave RTC. Once the recruits graduate, they will be able to enjoy these items at their next duty station. http://www.navy.mil/submit/display.asp?story_id=84758
