How bad is it?

I have been on the RTC facebook page. And have seen pictures the recruited with the gas masks on right before they have to rip them off and shout their last name and division and run out of the room. I think this is one thing I am most nervous about.

Does it hurt?
Did you puke?
How long does the gas have an effect on you?
