Never travel in your uniform if you can avoid it. It makes you a target
and your uniform gets all creased and rumpled.
If you're phase 1 or 2, you're probably going to need to take leave for this, not liberty - your liberty will end at a curfew every night. At my school it was 2200 for phase 1, 2200 on weeknights and 2359 on weekends for phase 2, but that'll change by base.
