This job seems awesome to me but the CTT route is my ideal option for loan repayment.
CTT (NAC) and Non-Acoustic/Electronic Warfare Operator AWO is somewhat similar... but for some reason, the EP-3's have AWV EWOP's instead of Non-Acoustic AWO's. They're going to be the one's detecting the stuff, and you're going to be the one analyzing it... that's about the best way I can explain it because a.) anything else is classified, and b.) I don't have the need-to-know... so I don't!

CTT (NAC) and Acoustic AWO are apples to oranges... I do Anti-Submarine Warfare (ASW) and Anti-Surface Warfare (ASuW); you do Signals Intelligence (SIGINT) and Electronic Intelligence (ELINT) gathering, plus advanced Electronic Warfare (EW). We fly armed with anything from Mk-46 torpedoes to SLAM-ER and Harpoon missiles, to nukes; you guys fly unarmed. Ironically though, the EP-3 is the only US military aircraft to score a hostile air-to-air kill since the turn of the millennium... take that, China!

Loan repayment is good, but any Aircrew billet that puts you in a VP or VQ squadron is going to bring in idiotic amounts of money through per diem whenever you deploy. For example, my buddy in VQ-1 is detached right now somewhere making ~$300 per day in per diem... that's $300 every day he's there in addition to his E-4 base pay, BAH, and $150/month flight pay. Another Sensor 2 AWO just got back from deployment with $20k in per diem. So as long as you do at least one good deployment to the right place as an AW or a CTT (NAC), you'll probably be able to pay off your loans regardless.

CTI, CTT, and CTR are the three ratings that can volunteer for Aircrew duties. Your opportunity will come after schooling when it comes time to pick orders... let your instructor know you're interested and make sure you're up for the challenges of Aircrew Candidate School and SERE. If there are no orders available out of training, you can still volunteer when the time comes to pick new orders... same rules apply though, you'll have to complete NACCS and SERE.
