Just for information, I talked to the Army recruiter yesterday...we are friends and he is coming to Christmas dinner...you could always try Army medic..they do have openings. My friend here locally, her son is an Army medic and he loves it, my oldest son is Army but Infantry and has promoted very fast compared to the Navy. My youngest was Navy and a nuke, and even so my oldest has promoted faster than a nuke in the Navy (E6 in under 4 years).
