I'd second what Guppy said. It resonates a lot in life in general.

I've got a friend in now that started APACT and hated it. He wanted out so bad. Once he rerated after his designated time, he actually likes his job better now. Still not in the best ways. I've tried to tell him to look at the positive things he's seen no one else has in our group of friends but he's jaded and refuses too.
