Yes they cut your hair. They cut it 3 times while at bootcamp for males. The RDC's can cuss at you but they cannot degrade you with cuss words. I have no clue what you mean by knife hand? Don't sweat...

The females in my division had cornrows. They have to be done all the way to the tips. You cannot have tails. Also do not call them cornrows. In bootcamp they are battle braids.

From what I have been told by my old recruiter...
From what I have been told by my old recruiter who is an AS and worked close to AD's...he said that AD's have a relatively laid back job. But,it' not easy all the time. Sometimes you work non stop...
