You can only try out for what they are forming that week. You don't get a choice on what type of 900 division you want, and depending on what time of the day you show up you may not even get offered...

I don't remember what he called it, but there's basically like a challenge day between divisions I guess, and whoever passes all the inspections wins it, and that's the division that gets the jerseys...

Yep this is true. It's only if your division wins though, there was a guy on RAP duty that came in during one of our recent DEP meetings who had a white sox jersey because his division won them.
