I leave for boot camp in a week! questions and advice! Hey everyone, I leave for boot camp in one week.. When I depped in last August I depped in at 163 pounds, 66 inches I had to undergo a minor surgery in nov, and was out of work for 2-3 months, and i couldn't do anything... My ship date got moved, and i gained quite a bit of weight... Anyways, I'm now at about 172-174 and haven't had much luck getting the last bit off. Does anyone know what happens? I assume my recruiter wouldn't ship me if it was a problem? I'm a 26 year old female, and i can pass the PRT...I can get about 50 sit ups in 2 mins, and my run is about 15 mins..I do struggle with push ups a bit, but I have gotten 24 in the 2 min mark before. Any information, words of advice or knowledge is greatly appreciated! Thanks. |

Your max weight is 170, so you're really close. And really, your body fat percentage may give you a bit of extra room. So not an ideal situation, but probably not going to impact your ship date. |

66 inches, and 170 is the male standard I believe. I am a female. I know they have "loosened" their standards, and my body fat is under 32%. I heard 32% and under is required to ship out to basic. Dunno if my recruiter is making things up or not... |

If you're under the max bca percentage, you're good to go. |
