Do I need my passport at MEPS or Bootcamp
 

Hi there,

I went to MEPS in August 2015 and am getting ready to ship out in March. I'm not a US citizen and have my Green Card. I understand that I am required to bring my birth certificate but am I required to bring my passport from the country which I hold citizenship to boot camp?

I only ask because as I will be naturalized in boot camp as a US Citizen, I plan to renounce the citizenship of the nation that I was born in and hold citizenship in and would like to send the documentation off before I head to RTC if I won't need my Passport for boot camp.
