Boot Camp Medical Process for females in Nuke

I was wondering the indepth process for medical checkups (not MEPS) for females are especially for the Nuke, such as will they Pap smear us or just merely check if your female just like MEPs.

Currently 17, hoping to go to boot camp next September.:newbie:

You will most likely get a Pap smear unless you've had it done recently and have the paperwork with you. You'll also discuss birth control options etc. (This is true for all females, being Nuke makes no difference.)

It wasn't that bad, the gynecologist and her assistants were the nicest medical personnel I met there.

Navy doesn't require a PAP before you're 21.

Count on having to do a pregnancy test. At OCS we had to do them every 4 weeks.

If you're not on birth control, you can ask for it during bootcamp.
