Bootcamp; 800 Division; medical related.

Hello!

Was curious if anyone could share some knowledge with me about the process for 800 division at bootcamp. I'm mainly wondering if there is extra scrutiny for medical issues, i.e. do they xray us or do ekg? Also, I am a Tricare baby. From what I've been told, they will go through my records to look for anything. I ask because I forgot about a pulmonary function test I had done last year to make sure I didn't have asthma...will this pop on their radar? Or will they only check medical records if I get injured.

Thank you!!

If you had a pulmonary function test and it turned up fine I don't see why it would be an issue.

True, but I went to an emergency room to get it taken and said I've never been to an emergency room at meps.

Do they go through everyone's medical record history during boot camp?

Not unless there's a problem really. It would take way too much time and manpower to scrub every single medical record, for their entire lives, of every recruit coming through RTC.
