Pay In Boot Camp

While in boot camp what pay do you get?

Base pay (obviously), do you get BAS or Family Separation and BAH (if you have a wife or kids)?

If you don't get those while at boot camp when do they generally get added to your pay and show up on the LES?

Base Pay and BAH you should get right away. Family Separation Pay begins after 30 days, I believe. (Of course, there's also the ditty bag deductions, so you don't make as much in bootcamp as you do afterwards.)

You're unlikely to receive BAS in bootcamp because you'll be eating at the galley.

Family sep starts after 30 days, but you get back pay to day 1. This applies throughout the Navy.

After I posted this then I realized that I won't get BAS since yeah they are gonna be feeding me.

With Fam Sep and BAH I only get that till I get to the first duty station? Is that right, because after that they have that option to move with me where I'm stationed at if it is shore duty?

Sorry for all the questions as my ship out date gets the closer the more questions I have.

Family Sep will stop (you have to be involuntarily separated from your family by 60+ miles for more than 30 days)

If you have dependents you will get BAH unless you live in base housing (you still technically get it, they just take it back to pay for your house)
