"Special Physicals" at RTC
I'm reading through the Day-Per-Day at RTC thread and noticed there are lots of "special" things nukes have to have done at RTC. Can anybody tell me what physicals and/or procedures nukes have to have done?

If it's anything like my flight physical, you'll have more blood drawn to test for allergies and medical conditions that regular rates don't get tested for. You'll also have a chest x-ray done to make sure everything is where it's supposed to be, and get examined by a doctor who is qualified to sign you off as medically cleared for a special program.

The other special nuke stuff is just seeing the Nuclear coordinators a few times while you're at boot. That office is like heaven compared to being with your division though, I'll tell you what. |
