Changing rates in bootcamp?
 

So I am undes ( i know i know ) and I read on one of the threads here for bootcamp that on the 3rd week that undes people get to choose what they would like to do? Does this mean I have a chance of rolling into a rate that I want while in boot camp? I already requested a DAR for EM or ET ( IT got denied because I have foreign contact )back in November and I shipped in 3 weeks.

I'm not Undes, so I can't tell you for sure - but as far as I know the only jobs you can get in bootcamp are things like Honor Guard. I don't remember any of the undes in my division getting jobs at bootcamp.

No UNDES do not get to pick a rate at boot camp.

At that mark, you fill out your Dream Sheet. That's all. For reference, I put Italy and Japan as my two requests, on a CG or a DDG...so they put me on a CVN in Washington. Shows how much weight those sheets carry.
