aviation boastwains mate handling
 
what does an abh do when they arent out to sea?? researched and researched what abh's do out at see but not finding much about what they do in homeport??

I am not an aviation guy but, in looking at this rate it appears that when you get shore duty, it looks as if you do the same things but just at an Air Station instead of a carrier. Which in an ABH's case would be spotting and securing aircraft, as well as crash rescue and fire fighting. It look as if there is also a few NECs for ABH. Overall it is a Sea intensive rate with a 60/36 month flow.
