Hello Fellow Spooks

Just wanted to introduce myself to the Spook family. I'm Future Sailor Breen (CTT). I leave for boot camp on 20140319 and can't wait. Any advice would be awesome!

I am also a CTT leaving 20140319. Haven't found much information on the rating. We might See each other at boot camp.

Welcome! I'm a CTN, but our schools are both in Pensacola. Im leaving 20140618. I have gathered a lot of information in regards to what to prepare for for the CTN rate. Im not sure if thats the same as CTT though. Id be happy to help if it is.

CTT and CTN is completely different but both A Schools are at Corry Station.

CTTs jobs require remembering a lot of numbers. They protect ships from missiles. CTNs... there's a lot of stuff we get trained to do in A School but we basically work with computer networks.

CTT school is shorter than CTN school. CTTs go through this course called ILE and they get rated, and then they go to shipboard. The CTTs that don't go to shipboard I can almost guarantee you got shore duty (thats what happened to my best friend and it RARELY happens) unless you get aircrew or something. The ones that go to shipboard go to ships.

CTNs go through JCAC which is 25 weeks long, but I'm pretty sure you know all about that lol But I will give you this advice... do NOT get SIQ for more than 2 days because you will get rolled back 1 or 2 classes. I started JCAC February 19 and was supposed to graduate August 7. Got pink eye and ended up getting rolled back into the class behind me and graduated August 27 instead.

Sorry for the novel lol
