Subrating question
 

My rating is AS and I was just doing some research and I found out it was broken down into subratings
ASE electrical
ASH hydraulics
ASM mechanical
My question is will I be able to pick the Subrating I wanna specialize in or will try just assign me one ?

These days in the Navy everything goes by what the Navy needs. Unfortunately, you probably wont be able to pick what you get. You'll find out while you're in bootcamp most likely. Sorry.
