So I'm shipping in 3 days on the 10th! I'm excited to leave and meet all of you guys who are shipping soon! I just wanna say that I created a youtube channel and the name is SkullCrazy1001. I already made videos about my experience in DEP and waiting to ship out but I'm also going to give information about boot camp once I graduate and how my A school is in San Antonio. If anyone wants to watch those once I graduate that would be cool and I can answer questions you have there. You can subscribe now and then be notified once I make the new videos. I'm trying to do something like plasmaspeedos and navygirlambition where they give detailed info because I really want to help any future sailors out there! So wish me luck and good luck to anyone leaving soon! :)

I ship out tomorrow. I didn't even look at anything corpsman related since i have been in dep. Taking one thing at a time.

Yeah damn you do have a long wait. I think you should make videos but yeah I can't really find any videos about being an HM or the A school that's one reason why I'm making these. Feel free to show others if you'd like.

I wanted to bring civilian clothes, undergarments and stuff to sleep in. I didn't want to have to buy new clothes over there when I have a shit ton of clothes in my room. I'm skinny so I'm not trying to lose weight and my clothes will most likely still fit.

I think she means that she packed clothes so once she gets to her A school her family can send it to her. Rather than have to buy everything brand new once she gets there.

Well for a couple months I had school so that was fine and then the summer came so I went to San Diego for a month and then Orlando for the weekend but pretty much I've been at home studying, working out and trying to hang out with friends the best I can. Time went slow for me up until November...lol

Yeah I did a shit ton of research and I wanted a job in the medical field and I found HM. I had my heart set on it. I told my recruiter I only wanted that and nothing else and I got it! Haha :)

As for bootcamp, a rule of thumb (if an RDC asks you what your rate is going to be) DO NOT say you already are your future rate, they will flip shit.
