I know it sucks for most ppl. And I know ppl who sign this are going to do sh!t jobs. My question is, what happened after this? Can I strike the rate that I want, even if that rate is full or even navy is kicking ppl out from that rate? Or I can only strike a rate from what navy needs?
What are the rates that most likely open? I already sign the contract. Is there anyway that I can get ride of that? Thank you guys~

You cannot strike for a rating that is full... and certain ratings (Like Aircrew, AC, Nuke, etc.), are not open to PACT, regardless of manning levels. When the time comes to strike for a rating, you'll be given a list of the available jobs in your field (Surface, Aviation, Engineering, Construction) at that moment. It's basically like MEPS 2.0.

Nope, sadly that's the lie many recruiters tell to sell PACT.

You can always switch before bootcamp

You can always attempt to switch before bootcamp, provided your recruiter puts in the paperwork, pays close attention to it, and someone ahead of you in line for a rating you'd like drops out AND you're the first one to take the new spot
Fixed.
